About this bibliography
The Humanistic Buddhism Research Bibliography is compiled comprehensively from a broad range of library and journal databases. It aims to include every English-language research publication on Humanistic, Engaged, and Applied Buddhism — wherever any of these terms appears in a work's title, abstract, or keywords.
In edge cases where these terms appear only within the body of a work, inclusion is a curatorial decision: the work is added when its content engages the subject substantially enough to merit a place in the collection.
